Nestled in the heart of the commercial whole sale market of Chotta Bazar, in Kashmere Gate area of Shahjahanabad, this 19^th Century haveli is one of the most striking buildings along the street, defined by its imposing arched gateway and projecting balcony along the street. The architectural and urban setting of the haveli is indicative of its importance within the neighbourhood. Archival maps provide cartographic evidence to establish the age of the building to as early as 1850s.
