This project also gave us an opportunity of sharing our experience of "practical building conservation" with everyone who wants to restore a haveli. We were commissioned by INTACH, Delhi and Delhi Heritage Management Secretariat to prepare a "Handbook for Conservation of Heritage Buildings in Shahjahanabad" A Manual for Owners & Occupiers which focused on the meaning of listing, how to plan and execute a conservation project and how to repair and restore a heritage building in Shahjahanabad, Delhi.
The publication of this manual is being undertaken by INTACH Delhi and for anyone interested in seeing this should visit the INTACH office at Lodhi Estate.
